On July 22, 2011 Fanwort was found on our shores by the Island Road Boat Launch. This plant is a very hardy and persistent species. It is a highly competitive plant that is capable of rapid growth and spread.
In order to keep it contained, the Board of Directors has made plans to reopen the Temporary Boat Launch on Island Road's main beach (accessisble from Park Street Terrace).
Please KEEP AWAY from this area including all fishing and communicate this to other HHL residents.
